St.Veronica School Symphonic Orchestra Program
Tolbert Music is honored to serve the St. Veronica School with our Symphony Program.
Program Commitment
Program Fee
Full-year price: $500
Discounts may be available for early enrollment or full-year prepayment
Payment links will be provided at registration
For monthly payments, please note this is a 10-month billing cycle (August–June), accounting for prep and wrap-up outside of weekly sessions
If more than 3 classes are missed due to unforeseen cancellations, we’ll offer make-up sessions
Full-Year Commitment
Learning an instrument takes time and consistency. For both pedagogical and logistical reasons, we require a full academic year commitment regardless of your chosen payment plan.
If you’re considering disenrolling, we ask that you speak with us first—we’d love the chance to address concerns and help your child stay on track.
Instrument Rentals
Students are responsible for providing their own instruments. We’ve partnered with Music & Arts to offer a convenient and affordable rent-to-own program.
Rental cost: $25–$45/month (depending on instrument)
Every dollar paid builds equity toward eventual ownership
Rentals include access to top-tier repair services and quality instruments
Important: Please avoid purchasing inexpensive instruments from Amazon or other unverified retailers. These often malfunction and are not repairable. If you already own an instrument or have another reputable rental option, that’s fine too—just ensure it's high quality.
Additional Costs
There will be a few small, incidental costs such as:
Sheet music
Reeds or accessories (e.g., valve oil, cleaning kits)
These are typically inexpensive, but we want you to be fully informed.
Practice Expectations
These instruments take dedication! Students will enjoy the program more—and progress faster—with consistent practice.
We recommend:
Starting by building a habit of taking the instrument out and making sounds as many times as possible during the week.
Grow to reviewing the material learned in the week 4-5 times a week.
Achieve a daily habit of practice between 15-30 minutes a day. Adjust to age and attention span.
Academic Responsibility
As this class meets during the school day, students must make up any missed classroom work. We encourage good communication between families, teachers, and students to stay on top of academic responsibilities.
